Facilities
The computer lab is equipped with 27 workstations that are Pentium IV IBM compatible computers operating in a Windows XP 2003 environment. The lab is equipped with a Smartboard, which allows for interactive learning, a colored laser printer with flash drive capabilities, and a black and white laser printer.
Each student, from grades Pre-K through 8, is taught basic keyboarding, word processing, and desktop publishing skills. Students are also taught and participate in projects which use Microsoft Office 2003 which includes Microsoft Office
Word, Excel, Publisher,
Powerpoint and Movie Maker.
The lab is connected to the Internet where students participate in supervised research activities, and additional classroom projects.
The lab is also available to faculty and students during the school day when computer classes are not in session.
